5” Gutter: standard residential gutter size

Our gutter systems are measured and built on site to ensure a perfect fit for your home. Each gutter is installed from high end to low with the use of a level to ensure a precise slope toward each downspout. Splash guards are a standard procedure for all of our gutter installations on systems with inside corners and roof valleys, where large volumes of water gather and race down toward the gutter with the potential to overshoot or splash over the outside of the gutter, no matter how well the system is installed. Splash guards are a line of defense against this rush of water to contain and prevent the possibility of it overshooting the gutter.

Downspouts

Downspout sizes include 3×3, our standard 3×4, and 4×5 which is often paired with a 6-inch gutter for maximum filtration and efficiency in areas with a high volume of water.
Downspouts are strategically placed to maximize the efficiency of your gutter system based on gutter length and square footage of roof, as well as accommodating locations and colors that look best for curb appeal.

EZ Lock 5” and 6” mesh leaf protection that works great against larger debris such as leaves, acorns, and sticks
Leaf Blaster Pro: Micro-Mesh 5” and 6: The all around gutter guard, an aluminum-frame, steel micro-mesh that is slim, sleek, and works great against all types of debris from leaves to those pesky pine needles. If you register your product for their 40 year warranty, they’ll send you a free brush to use for periodic cleanings.
Steel Style Micro Mesh 5” and 6”: the same performance as Leaf Blaster Pro, but in a pre-bent form to fit nicely into a gutter under a steel roof.
Leaf Blaster Pro: Frame-Reinforced 5” and 6”: Leaf Blaster’s strongest gutter guard option. Stainless steel micro-mesh with an T6-treated aluminum reinforced frame, built to handle the heaviest elements mother nature has to offer.

Living in Minnesota means snow and ice, plenty of it, and with that comes snow and ice slides which can take a toll on your gutter system. Snow stops are an important step we recommend taking when installing gutters on a building with a steel roof to protect them from potential damage or complete tear-off. We offer two different options to accommodate for standing seam (concealed fastener) roof steel or exposed fastener roof steel systems.
Exposed Fastener Roof Steel System: Exposed fastener steel snow stop rails that come in 10 ft sections are installed in a complete line on the roof above any run of gutter.
Standing Seam (Concealed Fastener) Roof System: Bracket and rail snow stops used on concealed fastener roofing systems to prevent the use of exposed fasteners to keep the sleek look on a concealed fastener roof while still providing protection against snow and ice slides.

Gutter maintenance is important. Clogged gutters and downspouts can have a significant effect on your gutter system from an efficiency standpoint, as well as a potential for damage to your home. Clogged downspouts hold moisture that can freeze and expand in the winter, causing it to leak and create potential for damage to your siding or foundation. We offer gutter cleanings per your request, or as part of a leaf protection install on existing gutter systems.
We are happy to remove your existing gutter systems before a new install. We will take your old gutters and scrap them to save you the headache of bringing them to a scrapyard or dumpster.
